# Samwad Contact Overview

The **Contacts** section is the central place where all WhatsApp users associated with your business are stored and managed. It serves as the foundation for chats, campaigns, automation, and analytics.

Every contact in Samwad maintains:

* Identity details (name, phone number, country)
* Messaging eligibility status
* Group and segmentation data
* Activity and interaction history
* SAGE-powered insights and recommendations
