Is there any limit to the number of broadcast messages to be sent?

You can send an Unlimited number of Messages to Unlimited number of Users using SAMWAD.

But here's the thing!

To achieve an Unlimited WhatsApp Broadcast limit, you need to reach the maximum tier Limit.

Once your WhatsApp Business API goes live, you will have a Broadcast limit of 250 unique users/ day.

To send messages to Unlimited users, you will need to follow some steps.

First, you need to upgrade your WhatsApp Broadcast limit from 250 to 1000 Unique users/ day.

To upgrade your WhatsApp Broadcast limit from 250 to 1000 unique users, you need to send messages to 1000 unique users in a time of 30 days.

Follow the steps mentioned below to upgrade your WhatsApp Broadcasting limit👇

1. Send messages to 1000 Unique users within 30 days

2. Send High-Quality messages (Quality Rating should be green throughout this process)

How to Increase the WhatsApp Broadcast Limit?

1. The quality rating is not low.

2. You need to send messages to at least half the unique users of your current WhatsApp Messaging Limit.

E.g. If you currently have a Broadcast Limit of 1000 unique users/ 24 hours, to upgrade your WhatsApp Messaging Limit from 1000 to 10000 users, you need to send messages to at least 500 unique users within a consistent duration of the next 7 days to move to the next tier.

So, if you're in Tier 1 & you send messages to 500 unique users within the next 7 days, Meta will increase your messaging limit to 10k on the 8th day.

Similarly, if you send the 500 messages on Day 1 itself, your Broadcast Limit will upgrade to 10k on the second day itself.

Similarly, if you currently have a WhatsApp Messaging Limit of 10000 unique users/ 24 hours & wish to upgrade to 1,00,000 unique users, then you must send messages to half the unique users in WhatsApp Broadcast Tier 2, i.e. 5000 unique users in the next 7 days.

Another factor that plays a vital role in helping you upgrade your WhatsApp Messaging Limit is your Quality Rating. Your Quality Rating should either be Medium or High to be upgraded to the next Broadcast Tier.

What if any businesses cross the daily WhatsApp Broadcast limit?

You can't send Broadcast to users over your Tier Limit. If you try to send messages to users over the limit, you'll encounter an ERROR message.

For example, if a business is in the Tier 1 category with a WhatsApp Business Broadcast Limit of 1000 Users & tries to send WhatsApp Broadcast to 1500 unique users, you'll encounter an Error Message - "Audience size exceeding remaining quota, some messages may not be delivered."

You'll have to reduce the number of users to 1000 to successfully send the WhatsApp Broadcast.

WhatsApp Broadcasting Rules

Can I send WhatsApp Broadcast to users who haven’t saved my number?

Yes, the business can send the WhatsApp Broadcast to those users as well who haven’t saved the business’s contact number.

This is something that isn’t plausible with WhatsApp Business App. The only condition here is that WhatsApp permits the business to send the broadcast to only opt-in users who have given consent to the business to receive messages.

How to take opt-in from users?

There are various methods to take opt-in from users.

1. Have a checkmark in the lead contact form on your landing page taking consent and opt-in from users.

Will my number get blocked by WhatsApp if I send too many broadcast messages?

This entirely depends on the Quality Rating. If your quality rating goes down, you’ll receive a warning notification from your FB Business manager.

Still, if it doesn’t improve and continues to deteriorate, your number will eventually get blocked.

The quality rating decreases when people start blocking you and this will only happen if you are sending promotional messages to the users or without opt-in.

Can I send WhatsApp Broadcast to those users who haven’t interacted with us on WhatsApp before?

Yes, you can import all the data of users that you want to send a broadcast to in the SAMWAD platform and shoot them a broadcast campaign even if they haven’t interacted with you on WhatsApp before. While doing so, you must take opt-in from all the imported users.

Do I need to get these WhatsApp Broadcast messages approved by WhatsApp?

You need to get only the template messages approved. You can use these template messages for broadcasting. In case you are sending a broadcast to an Active user, you can send template messages or regular messages (which doesn’t need approval from WhatsApp).

Can I send CTA buttons and Quick Reply buttons in WhatsApp Broadcast messages?

Yes, with template messages you can send URLs, Buttons and Quick Replies. There can be a maximum of 3 buttons that can be sent with a template message or 2 CTAs.

Both CTA & Quick Reply Buttons have a character limit of 20 Characters. Also, rich media can be sent such as videos, images, docs, audio etc. with Regular and Template messages.
