Agents

The Agents Feature in Samwad allows you to assign roles and responsibilities to your team members for better collaboration and customer engagement. Here's a step-by-step guide to adding Agents to SAMW

Step 1: Log in to the Samwad Dashboard

  • Log in to your Samwad account.

  • On the left-side panel, locate and click on the "Agents" feature.

  • This will open the Agents Management Page, where you can view the list of existing agents, if any.

Step 2: Explore Agent Management Options

  • On the Agents Management Page, you will see a list of existing agents (if created).

  • For each agent, you’ll have three options:

    1. Delete: Remove the agent.

    2. Login as Agent: Log in as the selected agent.

    3. Edit: Modify agent details.

Step 3: Add a New Agent

  • To create a new agent, look for the "Create New Agent" button on the right side of the page and click it.

Step 4: Fill in Agent Details

  • A new page will open where you’ll need to provide the following details:

    1. Name: Enter the agent’s full name.

    2. Email: Provide a valid email address for the agent.

    3. Password: Set a secure password for the agent's login.

  • Once the details are filled in, click "Insert" to complete the process.

Step 5: Refresh to View the New Agent

  • After creating the agent, refresh the Agents Management Page to see the newly added agent in the list.

Step 6: Assign Roles

  • After creating the agent, assign a role using the dropdown menu:

Select Agent for Live Chat roles.

Select Manager for broader administrative access.
