Templates
Purpose: Streamline WhatsApp message approvals.
Features:
Create and edit WhatsApp message templates.
Submit templates for approval directly within the platform.
Organize approved templates for quick access during campaigns.
Step 1: Navigate to the Templates Section
From the Samwad Dashboard on the left-hand side menu, click on Templates. This will open the Templates Management screen where you can view, create, and manage message templates.

Step 2: Open the Template Creation Page
Click on the Create Template button at the top-right corner of the Templates Management page. This action will take you to the template creation form.
Step 3: Fill in Template Basics
In the Template Basics section:
Name: Enter a unique name for your template (e.g., promo_discount).
Category: Choose a category from the dropdown (e.g., Marketing).
Language: Select the template language (e.g., English (US)).
Step 4: Design the Template Message
In the Form section:
Header (Optional): Choose a header type if applicable (e.g., text, image, video, or document).
Body (Required): Enter the main message content. Use variables ({{1}}, {{2}}) to customize the message for different recipients. Example: "Hello {{1}}, your order {{2}} has been shipped!"
Footer (Optional): Add a footer text if needed (e.g., "Thank you for shopping with us!").
Step 5: Add Interactive Elements (Optional)
Quick Reply Buttons: Click Add Quick Reply to create buttons that allow customers to respond quickly to your message.
Example: "Yes, I'm interested" or "Contact support".
Call to Action Buttons: Create buttons for actions like visiting a website or calling a phone number.
Click on Visit Website, Call phone number, or Copy offer code to add relevant actions.

Step 6: Preview and Save
Template Preview: Check how the template will appear on the right-hand side.
Once everything is set up, click on Save Template. The template will now be submitted for approval.

Step 7: Template Approval
Return to the Templates Management screen to monitor the status of your new template.
Approved templates can be used immediately.
Rejected templates will need revisions before resubmitting.
